The Arvada Press wrote a nice article about the Apex Tennis Center groundbreaking.
On Friday May 12th, a ground breaking ceremony took place at the Apex Tennis Center.
Project: Renovate eight outdoor courts with post tension surfaces, new lights, fences. Addition of facility with four new indoor courts and controlled access to all areas of the tennis complex.
Estimated Complete Date: 4th quarter 2017
Project Budget: $5,760,810
Remember, Monday May 1st we open registration for our 1st Annual Mountain Getaway Weekend, August 18-20. 64 spots will be available on a 1st come, 1st serve basis to NJTC members only. This will include non member spouses of current members. Any spots not filled by June 1 will be made available to non members. Once 64 spots are full we will create a time stamped wait list.
On the registration form there will be an option to purchase a light weight, extra soft tee shirt with commerative logo. Profits from the sale of these shirts will go towards fundraising efforts by the club. Your support would be greatly appreciated!!

It is that time of the year for the Saturday night drop-in tennis socials! This year it is going to be a little different, as we will not have the ATC available to us until July or August, but nonetheless, we will still have the fun! We are going to use the Fast4 format, this will allow more people to participate, as we will only have 4 courts available to us.When: Every Saturday starting with Saturday, May 6thTime: 5PM – 8PMCost: $5.00 per personWhere: Majestic View Tennis Courts (port-a-potty available)8998 W. 72nd Avenue, ArvadaWho: Any club member or guests are invitedWhat to Bring: A chair to sit on (optional), a snack if you like (optional), and plenty of water (no water on premise).
For now, we will not be bar-be-que, however, you are welcome to bring snacks to share, that is optional. NJTC will provide the new can of tennis balls and paper goods.As with all Arvada city parks and schools NO alcohol is allowed.
