  • The first thing you’ll need to do is find out what level you should be playing and then you can self-rate on USTA.  It’s important to be sure when you answer the self-rating questions not to over or undersell yourself.  If you aren’t sure what to rate yourself you can always ask one of the tennis pro’s at the Apex Tennis Center. 
  • Once you find out what level you should be playing you’ll need to find a team.  Let us help you.  Email info@njtctennis.com and a club rep can help answer your questions.  You can also log on to Colorado Tennis Association (CTA) to find out information regarding Adult and Jr league information in Colorado. 
  • You must be a member of NJTC to play leagues out of Apex.  You can join on the web site.

There are lots of leagues to choose from.

  • A Flex league is just that, very flexible.  You pick the time and place to play your opponents. 
  • Regular leagues have certain week nights that are designated for match play depending on what level you are playing. 
  • There are also day time leagues that play during the week day. 
  • Mixed leagues play on Sunday’s. 
  • You can also sign up for tournaments through USTA.  The upcoming tournaments are posted online and it’s easy to get registered. 

There are many ways you can get in to the game.   You can play more than one league, play as many as your schedule will allow.

If you know your NTRP level, fill out the Looking for a Team form which will go to our Club Reps and to League Captains looking for players.

Anyone can captain a team.  NJTC offers captains an informational meeting to help you with all of the procedures and rules that all captains must follow.  Fill out a form here or email teams@njtctennis.com to get started.

North Jeffco Tennis Club, NJTC, is a tennis club that has been playing in the Apex Recreational district for about 40 years. Apex Park & Rec provide the courts, drills and lessons for the recreational district.  NJTC and Apex work hand in hand to offer one of the best tennis experiences in the Metro area.

Apex Park and Recreation District (Apex PRD) is a special district established by Colorado statute, founded in 1956. The district encompasses about 60 square miles and primarily serves the Arvada community, Apex PRD is managed by an executive director and elected board of directors

Apex PRD operates the following facilities:

Apex Tennis Center, Apex Center, Apex Field House, Community Recreation Center, Fitzmorris Rec Center, George J. Myers Swimming Pool, Indian Tree Golf Club, Lake Arbor Center & Outdoor Pool, Outdoor Field Rentals, Racquetball & Fitness Center, Secrest Center & Outdoor Pool, and Simms Street Center.

North Jeffco Tennis Club (NJTC) rents courts at the Apex Tennis Center for Leagues, summer and winter socials, our annual Palooza tournament and fundraisers. NJTC has considered Apex Tennis Center their league home courts for over 35 years.
